Agora Energy Technologies
About
Agora Energy Technologies is an electrochemical engineering company developing a redox flow battery that uses industrially captured CO2 and generates electricity.
Its aim is to link industrial CO2 emitters, renewable power generators and utilities, storing renewable energy while putting captured CO2 to use, for grid, microgrid, industrial, telecom and commercial applications. Its teams work on electrocatalysis, electromechanical engineering, battery research, chemical engineering and membrane technology.
The 2025 Battery Report lists Agora among metal-air and flow battery players in the Americas, in its 'other' chemistry group.
