StorEn Technologies
About
StorEn Technologies develops vanadium flow batteries and sodium-ion batteries for energy storage in homes, businesses, industry, telecom and utilities.
The company was founded around its own vanadium flow battery technology, where its work focuses on improving stack efficiency, energy and power density and overall system performance, building on flow batteries' long life, durability, safety and recyclability. It has since added sodium-ion batteries through its Galileo battery platform. StorEn pitches its residential batteries as a long-lasting complement to rooftop solar, its industrial vanadium batteries for storing surplus generation, and durable batteries for telecom sites and data centers.
The 2025 Battery Report lists StorEn among metal-air and flow battery players in the Americas, in its vanadium group.
