Coulomb Technology
About
Coulomb Technology is a U.S. energy storage company that builds sodium-ion battery systems for commercial and industrial sites, defense and government, and motive and traction uses.
Its range covers grid-tied battery storage with power conversion, an AI-driven energy management system and open-protocol BESS cores, in 279V, 48V and 12V series. The company says its sodium-ion systems run from −40°C to +55°C without HVAC, have had no thermal incidents and are projected to last 20 years, with a lower 15-year cost of ownership than liquid-cooled lithium-ion. It aims for a domestic U.S. supply chain and has received non-dilutive government funding.
The 2025 Battery Report lists Coulomb Technology among sodium-ion battery players in the Americas, in its cell/pack group.
