VoltAero
About
VoltAero is a French developer of hybrid-electric aircraft for regional transport and general aviation.
Its Cassio 330 uses a distributed electric-hybrid propulsion system, and the company has unveiled its production configuration. It also sells the HPU 210 hybrid power unit to homebuilt, kit and light aircraft builders, introduced in North America at EAA AirVenture 2025. Its industrial facility and headquarters are at Rochefort Charente-Maritime airport, with an office in Paris, and in 2025 Malaysia's SEDC Energy and France's ACI Groupe agreed to work on a Cassio assembly centre in Sarawak. The site announces that AURA AERO has acquired VoltAero.
The 2025 Battery Report lists VoltAero among major battery-electrified aviation players in Europe (eSTOL/eCTOL).
