Cosmic Aerospace
About
Cosmic Aerospace builds electric aircraft for personal and regional flight.
Its first model, Cosmic One, is a four-seat plane with six independent electric propulsors and a whole-aircraft parachute. It quotes a top speed of 250 knots, 250 nautical miles of range plus reserves and 30-minute fast charging. The company says it designs around today's batteries, integrating the wing, structure, propulsion and energy storage as one system with propulsors embedded in the wing. It flew demonstrators CX-1 in 2024 and CX-2 in 2025, and plans a first flight of a production-representative prototype in 2028 and deliveries in 2029.
The 2025 Battery Report lists Cosmic among major battery-electrified aviation players in the Americas (eSTOL/eCTOL).
