REGENT
About
REGENT develops and manufactures Seagliders, all-electric, passenger-carrying wing-in-ground-effect vessels for coastal routes.
A Seaglider operates only over water, on its hull, its hydrofoils or its wings, and the company quotes 180 mph and 180 miles of range on battery power. It is aimed at commuters and travellers on routes between coastal cities, and REGENT Defense offers American-made Seagliders for military use. Its customers, investors and partners include ferry operators, airlines and logistics companies, and it announced its first human-crewed Seaglider flight in September 2026.
The 2025 Battery Report lists REGENT among major battery-electrified aviation players in the Americas (eSTOL/eCTOL).
